Hollenbeck Park Adjacent and I-5 Fwy Adjacent Beautification Project
This project, located in Boyle Heights, adjacent to Hollenbeck Park and the I-5 Freeway, will beautify and improve safety in the public right-of-way adjacent to Hollenbeck Park, as well as areas inside the park.
Project Elements:
- 200 new trees, adjacent to and inside the park
- 59 pedestrian lights along 4th St, St Louis St, Hollenbeck Dr, and Cummings St
- Installation of 6 ADA curb ramps
- Reconstruction of 8 driveways
- 14,900 SF of new sidewalk along St. Louis St and Hollenbeck Dr (between St Louis and Boyle)
- Updating of existing gateway monument
- 805 LF of decorative fencing, west side of the park along Cummings St
