Street Renewal Division

The Street Renewal Division (SRD) maintains all improved streets, alleys, and related throughways within the City, overseeing a network of 28,000 lane miles of streets, and 800 miles of alleys. The City of Los Angeles has the largest municipal street system in the nation. Has a street in your community recently been resurfaced? That project came to fruition thanks to the hard work of SRD.
