Constituent or their contractor makes direct request to StreetsLA Investigation & Enforcement Division (IED).

Permit Application Submitted
This permit allows StreetsLA to conduct inspections over the erection, construction and maintenance of the new canopy, commonly used at hotels.

Application Reviewed
StreetsLA receives application and responds to applicant via email or phone. No pre-inspection is required.

Feedback
Corrections may be issued, but generally other departments are not involved. This allows the process to proceed faster than some other types of permits.

Application Approved
Once all revisions are made, the permit is issued.

IED will deny the permit if appropriate conditions are not met.
