Farmers Markets

StreetsLA is proud to be the permitting agency for farmers markets that are held on public streets in the City of Los Angeles. Farmers markets help address food insecurity, expand business opportunities for farmers and entrepreneurs, and are a vital part of our city’s cultural landscape.

Prior to StreetsLA issuing a permit for a farmers market, the operator must already possess the following:

• A location identified and approved
• State permit to operate as a Certified Farmers Market
